A Fundraiser & Exhibition Presented by the UL Lafayette College of the Arts in Collaboration with IDI Workspaces

The UL Lafayette College of the Arts, in partnership with IDI Workspaces, invites you to participate in Chairsgiving—a fundraiser and exhibition where chairs become canvases for creativity. This unique initiative supports student scholarships through the UL Lafayette College of the Arts SPARK Fund.

Artists are invited to transform a Muuto Fiber Side Chair (Tube Base)—a sustainably designed, minimalist chair made from 100% recycled plastic and FSC™-certified wood fiber—into a functional work of art. Whether through sculptural painting, collage, pattern, or material experimentation, each chair will reflect the artist’s unique vision while remaining structurally sound and usable.

Exhibition and auction proceeds will benefit the College of the Arts and participating student organizations. Artists will receive 20% of the final auction price.
